History
At some point, Monarch was built and began working on British Railways. After the Diesel Invasion, she arrived on Tankopia and joined the railway.
Season 4
A Tale of Two Trains
In Timothy's story, Monarch is seen working at King's Cross Station. After this, she is seen in Inikaton Yards when Harry introduces the refugees to Timothy. Monarch tells the latter that Chance and Brad are missing. She also asked Timothy who Ronno was. In the present, Monarch passes Ivo Hugh with some salt vans. The next day, she watched Ivo, Connor, 089, and Johnny Cuba leave Mahrington Port. She honked her horn to say goodbye as the other members of the Tankopian Fleet did the same.
Persona
Monarch is a shy and quiet engine. Not much is known about her so far.

- Monarch's model was made from a 2011 TOMY Wooden Railway Diesel 10 and some modeling clay.
- Nick used a hairdryer to get the paint to dry faster on Monarch, which makes her one of the quickest customs he has ever made.
